My pound Shih Tzu fits nicely inside this pet carrier backpack. I also have an 11 pound cat but he’s a little bit too big for it. Those 2 pounds make a difference. The spec is very well put together by really sturdy materials. You just have to make sure that your pet is small enough.

This is a wonderful doggie carrier !! I am absolutely in love with this product ! The price was amazing , came super fast during this pandemic and little boy loves it ! Can’t wait to hike and take it up to our lake house ! It’s a normal size backpack so it won’t fit larger animals . My little chihuahua weights about a 1 1/2lb and 8 inches (minus head and tail) . I am super happy with this though !

I can’t say enough good stuff about this backpack. I speak for myself AND my Amazon when I say this thing is a game changer. I wasn’t sure if there would be room for her in there, she’s a good size bird (48 grams), but she has plenty of room to move around and the clear plastic bubble allows her to get a great view of the world during our walks. For anyone wondering if they should give this a try for their bird, DO IT!!! I used a natural wood perch I got at a local pet store and just screwed it to one of the vent holes on the front bubble part, works great!! Very sturdy and my girl is always very happy to get right in and go on an outing. Best purchase I have made for her ever, and wayyyyy cheaper than backpacks ‘made’ for birds.

Love every feature including the hardness of the shell case, ease of loading her into the zippered shell. My cat also loves it!! She seems to enjoy the adventure it offers her. We took our first trip traveling over four states, I had a crate with a litter box in the car then this was her shuttle going off on adventures such as hiking along lakes - it seems to make her feel safe to see the world with the full visibility but gives her confidence she is safe fron an approaching curious dog.
